Michele Martin Taylor has spent a
lifetime learning to communicate
through the medium of oil paint. She
studied at
Chouinard Art Institute, Pasadena
Art Institute, California State
University at Northridge, and
graduated from Oregon State
University with a BA in Painting and
Printmaking and a BS In Secondary
Art Education.She did post-graduate
work in Paris in painting.
In 1983 she was elected to Who's
Who in American Art by the Art
faculty at OSU as well as named
Distinguished Alumna.
Also, a new hybrid iris was named
'Michele Taylor' by Schriener's Iris
Gardens in honor of her paintings .
