ROB SCHULTZE
Art has always played a dominant role
in the Life of Rob Schultze. No matter
what he said he wanted to be (Actor,
lawyer, archeologist…) he always
returned to his roots as a creative
individual. He picked up his first 35mm
camera when he was 11 and went
through rolls of film at an alarming rate.
His artistic side blossomed when he
began attending the Steven Schultz
School of Art (Green Bay) in 2001,
where he learned and perfected the
concepts of composition, balance, and
colors through the art of painting.
Rob Schultze shot his first paid
photography job in 2004, a wedding
for a family friend.Armed only with a
primitive digital camera, everyone was
impressed with the outcome of the
photos. Soon, he began receiving
phone calls from other customers
saying that he had come “Highly
recommended” and he was able to quit
his job in 2005 and freelance fulltime.
Between 2004 and 2005 Rob began to
push his work on art galleries and
display areas, which eventually got him
a display at the Brown County Library
and full recognition by the Green Bay
Fine Arts Committee.
In late 2006, Rob Schultze enrolled in
The New York Institute of Photography
where he continues to study. He is set
to Graduate in late 2008.
Rob currently resides in Green Bay WI,
where he spends way too much money
framing his prints and preparing his
work.
