STEPH CHARD
I have had a love affair with art my entire life and my body of work
so far reflects that. My work is something based highly on emotion
and inspired from that around me.
I use portraiture to better understand the world around me and to
convey thoughts and ideas in a way I may not otherwise.
My art constantly evolves in line with my self and finds strength to
create from within.
My works have been included in group exhibitions such as the
SmART art festival in Sydney (2007) and 2High festival in the
Powerhouse in Brisbane (2007). My first solo exhibition in a public
gallery was held at the Cooloola Shire Gallery in September 2007. I
gained national & international media recognition for my portrait
of Queen Elizabeth II in vegemite and recieved correspondance
from Her Majesty.
Private collections with my work include: Perez Hilton. As seen on
